I can easily say that the best part of my job is getting to work with all different kinds of families! The Sondgeroth family's session took place on a gorgeous day in Bay Shore. As a family photographer, I believe that your portrait session should be a true reflection your family's heart and spirit. For me, encouraging the parents to play and interact with their kids is so much more fun and engaging than having myself constantly in their face with a camera. Watching Finn having fun with Keelyn made my little momma heart so happy. Their friendship is absolutely adorable, he just LOVES his little sister so much! Kids can be such wild cards. You never know who is gonna show up, and you never know if things will end up the way you hope they would! So seeing them making silly faces and tickling each other made me so happy. It's wonderful having incredible clients that PLAY with their kids during sessions, rather than trying very hard to make their kids look right at the camera. Life isn’t perfect…so don’t expect family photos to be either…am I right?! Just remember to enjoy the moment, it’s fleeting and changing, so embrace what comes and hold on tight!"
